Full Mouth Rehabilitation

A comprehensive approach to restoring your smile — replacing missing teeth with implants and rebuilding worn or damaged teeth with crowns, all coordinated in one personalised treatment plan.

Rebuilding Your Smile from the Ground Up

Full mouth rehabilitation brings together multiple treatments into a single, carefully sequenced plan to restore your oral health, function, and appearance. It is appropriate when significant dental issues affect most or all of your teeth — whether through tooth loss, severe wear, extensive decay, or a combination of these factors.

Implant replacement is the gold standard for replacing missing teeth. Titanium implants are placed in the jawbone, where they fuse with the bone to create a stable, long-term foundation. A crown, bridge, or implant-supported denture is then attached on top, providing a replacement that looks, feels, and functions like a natural tooth. Implants also help preserve the jawbone and prevent the facial changes that accompany long-term tooth loss.

Crown restoration for worn teeth addresses teeth that have been ground down, fractured, or heavily eroded. Porcelain or ceramic crowns cap the damaged tooth structure, restoring the correct bite height, protecting the remaining tooth, and improving appearance. In cases of significant wear, the bite is carefully rebuilt to the correct vertical dimension before new crowns are placed — this is often the most complex and important step in a full mouth rehabilitation.

Treatment is always sequenced in the right order: gum health is addressed first, then any extractions, then implant placement, then restorations. We work with you at every stage to ensure you understand the plan and are comfortable with the process. We serve patients from Penrith, Blacktown, Mount Druitt, and across Western Sydney.

A Coordinated Plan, Start to Finish

Detailed Treatment Planning

Before any treatment begins, we map out every step — what will be done, in what order, how long it will take, and what it will cost. No surprises.

Address the Root Cause

We identify why your teeth deteriorated — grinding, acid erosion, gum disease — and address the underlying cause, not just the symptoms, for long-lasting results.

Function and Aesthetics Together

We restore how your teeth bite and chew as well as how they look. A stable, comfortable bite is the foundation of any full mouth rehabilitation.

Flexible Payment Options

Full mouth rehabilitation is an investment. We offer staged treatment plans and payment plan options to spread the cost over time in a way that works for your budget.

Full Mouth Rehabilitation FAQs

Full mouth rehabilitation is a comprehensive treatment plan that restores the function, health, and appearance of all or most of the teeth. It combines multiple procedures — such as dental implants, crowns, bridges, gum treatment, and bite correction — tailored specifically to your situation. Each plan is unique because every patient's needs are different.
The timeline depends on the complexity of your case. Treatment involving implants typically spans 4 to 12 months to allow for osseointegration — the process by which the implant fuses with the jawbone. Crown restorations can often be completed in fewer appointments. Your personalised treatment plan will include a clear timeline from the start.
Tooth wear is most commonly caused by teeth grinding (bruxism), acid erosion from diet or acid reflux, or a combination of both. Over time, worn teeth become shorter, more sensitive, and prone to fracture. Full mouth rehabilitation addresses the underlying cause as well as restoring the damaged teeth — often including a nightguard to protect the new restorations.
Individual components — such as crowns, implants, and gum treatment — are each claimable separately under Extras health insurance. We provide a detailed treatment plan with itemised fee estimates so you can understand your entitlements and plan your investment. HICAPS on-the-spot claiming is available for all applicable items.
Full mouth rehabilitation is suitable for patients with multiple missing, worn, or extensively damaged teeth. A consultation is the best way to determine whether this approach is right for you. We assess your overall health, bone levels, gum health, and individual goals before recommending any treatment path.
