Serene Family Dental publishes honest starting prices and provides an itemised written quote at the consultation before any treatment begins. Starting prices as of July 2026:

- Wisdom tooth removal: from $400.
- Tooth extraction: from $250.
- Gum contouring: from $200 per tooth.
- Composite veneers: from $550 per tooth.
- Porcelain veneers: from $1,400 per tooth.
- Smile makeover plans: from $2,000 (personalised, final cost depends on the treatments combined).
- Clear aligners: from $4,500.
- Dental implants: from $4,000 per implant, crown included.
- All-on-4 full-arch implants: from $25,000 per arch.
- Full mouth rehabilitation: from $8,000.

Payment and claiming:

- All health funds are accepted, with on-the-spot claiming through HICAPS.
- Payment plans are available through Afterpay, humm and Denticare.
- Eligible children aged 2 to 17 are bulk billed under the Child Dental Benefits Schedule.

## Child Dental Benefits Schedule (CDBS)

The CDBS is a Medicare program that provides up to $1,158 in dental benefits over two consecutive calendar years for each eligible child aged 2 to 17. Serene Family Dental bulk bills the CDBS, which means no out-of-pocket cost for covered services such as check-ups, cleans, fillings and fissure sealants, up to the benefit cap. Each child in a family has their own separate $1,158 cap. Children are generally eligible if the family receives Family Tax Benefit Part A or certain other government payments. The practice checks a child's eligibility before the appointment when given the Medicare card details.

## Dental emergencies

Same-day emergency appointments are available for toothache, swelling, broken teeth and dental trauma. Patients in pain are asked to call (02) 9053 1995 as early in the day as possible.
